What's new in the Notify app

Our new Notify app has been completely remade so it's now easier than ever to set up and manage your Zendesk notifications. With browser popup support, agents will be alerted to important announcements even when they don't have Zendesk in the foreground.

Browser-based popups

Each agent can enable browser popups in their individual settings, so they'll be alerted even with the Zendesk window minimised. Notifications are also saved to the OS notification hub for later reference.

Sound control

Agents can select their own notification sound type and volume within Zendesk — giving everyone the ability to tailor their experience.

Improved agent options

"Dismiss all" and "Mark all as done" are now always visible within the app for agents, making bulk notification management faster.

New user interface

The Notify app has a new admin UI aligned with the rest of the SweetHawk Suite, making setting up notifications much easier.

Additional app managers

You can now set up multiple managers of the Notify app — ideal for team leaders who need to set up their own notifications without requiring full admin access.

Audit log

A new admin area shows a useful audit log of all creates and updates of notification rules on your account.

Note: the broadcast feature has been moved to our separate Broadcast app.
