Approve just got more flexible with the new Slack Integration

Approvals in Zendesk just took a big leap forward. Previously, approvers received requests via email. Now, with the new Slack integration in Approve, they can review and act on requests directly within Slack — without switching context.

How It Works

  1. Admins enable the integration in Approve's Add-ons section
  2. Approvers select Slack as their preferred delivery method
  3. Approval requests appear directly in Slack for immediate action
  4. Full visibility remains in Zendesk for agents and admins

For agents: No more chasing approvers. Full visibility of delivery channels and approval statuses means you always know where things stand.

For approvers: Take action without switching between applications. A Finance Director can approve a refund from a Slack notification rather than discovering an email hours later.

Open Approve, navigate to Add-ons, toggle Slack on, and connect your account. New users can contact [email protected] for setup assistance.
